Hey G-Squad....
Are any of you guys showing your G's at events like HIN/HID, Showoff's, ExtremeAutoFest... etc...?
If so, how are you doing so far this year?
Cheers, Ted

Re: Hey G-Squad....
Ted,
Unfortunately, I wanna blame our "tropical" climate for the lack of mods to most of our G's. Most peeps here use their G's as daily drivers, park them in college parking lots "aka - shopping venues for car thieves", etc. We also have the Mercedes and BMW's here which may diffrer slightly from the ones they sell out by you. Here they come standard with the "Drive however you want" option. Do you believe that these expensive autos don't come with directionals here!!! LOL
Anyway, what I am trying to say is that some of these factors have kept our modding to a minimum, although we haer of peeps going to shows. I believe we have a few guys and a sponsor going down to HIN in Atlantic City in a few weeks. I think this will be the first major show someone from the squad will actually enter. In addition, we all know how the judging goes at the shows! What we need is a few Squaders to go FI!!!!!

Hi Ted,
like Deisel said we have one of our sponsers going and maybe 2 or 3 G.Squaders but I'm sure your list of mods will out weight ours for sometime...lol
FI is the way I'd like to go ....but YIKES with all the horror I blew my VQ stories...or even worse this silly tuner blew it for me with his knuckle-head job.
Next year should look better for us though....as more and more of us join and have got the MODs.....its a disease not choice....LOL

Ted..
Paul (Eastern Autosports) is going to be installing a Greddy TT for the G... So I think he'll be one of the first G's with FI out here. As said before... we don't have the luxary of playing with our cars year round... =\ I lived in Cali my whole life, and you West Coast people don't have to deal with snow, washing your damn car all the time because of the rain every week!!
I remember I could go 2-3 weeks without washing my car cause it never rained. A simple California duster would suffice...
I think a few of us are headed down there for HIN in Atlantic City. Check again with us next year...

Re: Hey G-Squad....
HIN/HID is all about the Bling. Not sure anyone can compete there without a $17k paint job.
ExtremeAutoFest, Showoff and local shows tend to be a little more down to earth, with more categories.
You need to start laying the groundwork, showing stock even in order to demonstrate that there is a need for Infiniti, or even a G35 category.
We've pushed hard for this on the West coast, but it take 6 - 10 G's guaranteed to create the category.
Good luck,
Ted & the rest of Transport!

I am probably putting my car int he show, i think my car looks pretty good, and i dont think there are any other sedans (g35) or others, alot of people told me my car is so different from whats there and i might have a chance, who knows but it should be an experience!! First step, email them with pictures and see if i get picked to show my car off, if i do then i for sure know i might have a chance, if not? Twin turbo my G for the exclusive and fun factor i love for my last 2 years on my leased car hahaHAHAHHA , man im crazy!! =)
