cheap = my friend was paying $3800 for his install so he just threw my tinting on his bill too to make it an even 4G's. so technically, i didn't pay for it at all... yet.

 

2 Bills ain't exactly cheap Stevo! I paid $180, about the going rate for regular tint. Unless you got Huper! What the hell else was your friend getting for the $3,800? The deck is about 1200 beans, where is the rest going to? And for that, they should have thrown it if foe FREE & included a happy ending!!! LOL

i was ok with the 200 b/c this was the type of shop that does top notch work..... i'm very **** about tints and i wanted it to be done right on the first shot.

i also wanted a 1-piece rear window film. the 2 guys that put it in were meticulous and it's flawless, i couldn't have asked for better work. they also told me if it ever bubbled they will replace it completely.

i decided to let them do it b/c i was sitting there with the Audi for 2 hours and i saw them tint 2 other cars and was impressed.

 

there is no double din kit made for an Audi A4/S4. the installers custom made a double din panel out of fiberglass that matched the factory interior about 99%. they also installed a kenwood CD changer, Sirius satellite radio, navigation unit, a reverse camera, and 15% tint on all 5 windows. the kid doing the fiberglass piece alone took about 8-10 hours sanding and making it perfect. like i said b4, this place was a class act that does excellent work.

PS - 3800 is not THAT much,,,, my friend Alex has a 2002 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition... he had this place put a system in his truck..... $8000

 

and for his 8000 he got:

Pioneer AVIC-N1 flip out up front
2 headrest screens in the back
Custom sub box made in the shape of the rear armrest
Viper 2-way alarm with remote start
15% tints all around

 

BTW those 3 posts above were originally a single big one when i wrote it.... then i was like damn this is the post whorin thread better break that up into a few posts
