Hey man if your far away from the phone company don't even bother with DSL IMO Cable is much better... but u can go on AIM with Dial-up but why waste the money for it. ah well.

Screw DSL, cable is soooooooo much better! Unless you're talking about a different type of DSL's, then yeah, I agree, we all need that in our lives!

Just FYI... To put some useful information to this thread, there's Pro's/Con's to each. I'll refrain from using Cling-on...
DSL: The further you live from the phone company... the SLOWER the speed. Range really sucks with DSL!! If you live next door to the phone company, that's another story.
**Think of it as a one lane freeway, and it's all yours... but you're given a Pinto that goes only 35mph**
CABLE: The more people in your neighborhood that use it, the slower your connection will be. If you have a neighbor(s) that are constantly downloading P0Rn... your connection will be affected because you & perverted neighbor all SHARE the same bandwidth. It could be 100Mbps for your block, but if it's just you... you'll be flying...
**Think of it as a 5lane freeway, if you're on your own, you can fly in your Skyline as fast as you can... But if you & your neighbors all go for a stroll when everyone's out (think NYC traffic @5pm), well, you get the point**

COMMERCE is the ish-- i have my bank account there, not to mention its close to my house so its much more convenient. But yes i have like 10 of their cool blue pens lol
