Yes there is such a thing....... I have to get the guys name but he's right here is westbury. You have to have the tires off the rims but if they're polished aluminum they will look like chrome when this guy is done with them. I'll take a ride down there and find out the name of the place and the number. I'll talk to the guys to see if he can hook us up with any special pricing if more are interested.

Ah that must be the same guy Lou used for his Stocks and Nismos. He had the Nismos powdercoated and the stocks polished on the front of the spokes. They cam out great!!! The guy mostly does motorcycle stuff like complete frame polishing, wheel polishing etc!! Nice work!!

Yeah sounds like it's the same guy. I had his card but I can't for the life of me find it right now. Seems to do good work. And thats the great thing about polished aluminum. No matter what oyu can always get the finish back on those wheels.

Ok I got a few cards from the place that I know.

Carsmetics Inc.
349 Union Ave.
Westbury, NY 11590
516-333-8210
www.CARSMETICSINC.com

Lou is the guy that owns the place. He had a few bikes out that he had just finished and they looked SICK!! He does nice work so if you want your polished wheels to look new go check it out.

If someone can post a price, that'd be cool. Maybe we can get a discount with multiple sets?

Price????? What do you want done. It's all labor so the time it takes will determine price. Figure about $100 per wheel!

I know the shop .. and know it well. I took 2 bike shops from him, after the bike shops saw my work. There is much better work out there. Me for 1 lol .. But I closed my business some time ago. If anyone still wants to know of other places on LI that do better work ..... I'll look into my files and pull some names for you. Or I could tell you how to do it yourself. Let me know ..... Sorry to bash the place .. but I do know better places. PS 100 a wheel is very cheap. In my day the lips of rims on bikes went for 300 a wheel.

Hey if you have other shops post em up everyone needs options. 100 a wheel sounds good to me. I can't vouch first hand for his work but the stuff that was there looked nice. I'd be taking my wheels ther if I was keeping them.
