It is with great regret that I must inform the GSquad of the sale of my beloved G35. This was a tough decision that I made in about 5 minutes after eating lunch with a friend a few weeks ago (you know who you are). I came to the conclusion that this would be the best decision for me in the long run. I have chosen to devote all of my funds and income to the purchase of a new home.

Though on its own I thoroughly enjoyed the G35, it is you, the GSquad members, which made the car such a joy to own. I look forward to the day that I can again purchase such an absurdly impractical vehicle and will keep you all updated on my progress in the future.

As a side note, I think all coupe owners will be happy to know that I ended up selling the car with almost 12K miles for just $2,200 less than I paid for it 7 months ago. I’ve had a blast with all of you guys and girls and will certainly be active on the forums and in the new chat room and will hopefully make it to a few meets.

 

Damn that really sucks. On a positive note, you made a pretty mature decision and you didn't lose much on the car cuz I m sure it was completely immaculate. If you can still make it out to the meets every now and then.

I too am in the same boat, but since the housing market is so astronomically outta reach for me, I haven't even though about selling it yet! I know it was a tough decision, but hey, a house you build equity into whereas a car you just keep losing value.

You better make sure you still show up to the meets. NO EXCUSES!!! I don't care if you a rocking a KIA Sorento, ur **** better make it down!!!

haha thanks for the support in my time of need guys. To clear a few things up: by "house" I really meant "place to live -ie condo/townhouse" so the demolition meet will be postponed indefinitely, I'm about $400,000 short for purchasing a house in Fairfield County .
