i made this thread for peeps heading down to the track can meet up. so there will be no confusion. i m planning on meeting drew(diesel1) as soon as he exits the lincoln tunnel . i ll be parked at the empty gas station across from exxon. i need to know at what time to meet you there drew. let me know man.

Tony which way are we gonna take down to etown? Once we're outta the tunnel, doesn't it lead us on to the parkway or sumtin? I am unsure of the empty gas station? Is that Hojokin'?

 

Comin out of the Lincoln, if you choose to take the parkway you pick it up on the turnpike just past the Edison stop, exit 11.

NOt a clue Raul. I know me, ONO, and Speed are meeting at the diner right off the LIE @ Franny Lew at 7:30AM. We should be in Manhattan at my boys firehouse before 8AM and out of the city and through the tunnel by 8:15AM. Technically, we will probably be at the firehouse around 7:50. Manhattan is dead that early on a Saturday AM!!

We need to sort this out fellas before we roll. Again, the early AM meeting is for those who are racing or those who want to watch the races n go early.

Don't forget - IF YOU ARE RACING YOU NEED:

DOT approved Helmet
NO SHORTS or NYLON PANTS
NO TANK TOPS (short sleeve T's ok)

I REMEBER NOW!!!! THOMAS EDISON REST STOP!!!! ill be there at 8:00 am hopefully we can leave about 830 so we give peeps time. should take about an hr from there to get to the track, depending traffic of course let me know if this is ok.

 

i'll be GPS'ing from my location so i dont know thru which locations ill be passing thru. it be kool to know where everyone is parking also so we can all park up together once there. I'm leaving early prob around 8am earlier if i can get the kids and wife up early.

 

Yes it has Todd but I guess Diesel's boss is gettin his nickels worth out of him today cause he didn't have time to post up the info for the jersey people so here's the skinny.

The peeps that are starting off in Queens will be traveling through Manhattan and entering Jersey through the lincoln tunnel. We'll be exiting the tunnel onto rt 3 I believe and take it to the Turnpike. We expect or hope to get to the Thomas Edison Service area about 8:45 ish. Pearlcoupe is meeting us there from Philly and anyone else he is dragging (pun intended) with him. I would suggest that anyone from the north jersey area to meet us there too. If anyone wants to pick up with us at the toll plazza (where you get the tickets for the pike off of rt 3) that's kewl, but we won't be stopping other than to get the toll tickets.

The Thomas Edison rest area sits on the southbound lanes between exit 11 and 12. It is only accessable from the southbound lanes.

If anyone wants Diesel's or my cel # private message either him or me for both our numbers. As Tony can atest to, it is better to have it and not need it than to not have and you do need it.
