Hey guys, just wanted to give you all a little heads up on a little "group buy" I started to put together as of this afternoon.

Would any G-Squaders be interetsed in a custom shift **** with the words G-SQUAD and your forum handle laser engraved on to it???

I've been on the phone with a handful of shift **** manufacturers and have recieved a few price qoutes, but still waiting to hear from some of the bigger players.

Here's the details (not set in stone) - I'm pricing out and will hold on hand 50 shift *****. Orders will be taken on a first come, first serve bassis. There will be two engraving shipments. The first 25 and the remaining 25. Upon recieving the first 25 orders, complete with payment, that batch will be sent to my laser engraver (friend of my dads) who will have them all done and back to me in about a week. The final price will include UPS ground shipping to you.

The shift ***** that I have been looking at are all ball styles, and will be weighted to help firm up and allow for a more positive shift. So this is not just a cosmetic mod, but in fact a performance enhancement! The ***** will be either a polished or satin finished steel / alloy and will come ready to be instaled on your G without any modifications, and yes they will work on any aftermarket short shift kit.

I will also offer a **** stand as an option ($10) for those who would rather just get one and keep it on their desk, office or garage as a great little conversation piece.

I personally love the idea of a one of a kind custom shift ****, but before I go ahead and commit to such a venture, who would be interested in one? The price point I'm shooting for which will include the ****, the laser engraving service, and shipping is between $59 and $69 (respectivly more if we don't get a big request)...

I am in for sure! As long as the ball will meet the boot or maybe we can get an adapter for it! I think its a cool idea! I don't know how many you can get from GSQUAD since many are autos. You may want to throw this out to the rest of the forum so we can get the higher numbers! Of course, by throwing it out there, you will hear alot of......"i'm in depending on final pricing and picture of final product..."

Lemme know! Might also be hot to antique the laser etched part too! I will also not that I love the black chrome look you have on your new Razo!

 

Wow, that's pretty cool. If I had a 6MT (maybe in a few months...hmmmm) I think I'd be down, but are there other design options? Maybe a few we could choose from and then go from there?

i was thinking about gwtting this one but maybe I'll get this one too. Definatly looks cool. Don't know about touching it on a hot sunny day though.
