Well, not for nothin (love that expression), but the US looked f'n nice in Korea/Japan. Who would have ever thought they could beat (embarass) Portugal?
And yes . . . I hate to say it, no disrespects to the Greek crew, but that Euro 04 had to be a fluke. I still can't figure that out

true it was a fluke , I am greek and I KNOW it to be one , but ummm the US did embarass Portugal so if u claim they are a great team for doin that then u MUST give credit to the greeks , they EMBARASSED Portugal worse than the US did.....
first game of Euro2004 (which was hosted by Portugal) Greece 2-1 winners over Portugal
last game of Euro2004 ( still hosted by Portugal) Greece 1-0 winners over Portugal
even as a fluke , they did embarass portugal in their home TWICE....and did get by the top 2 teams favored to win.
but yeah , that'll never happen again ...lol
Where did u play soccer Booda? I played for Auburndale Soccer for about 10 yrs
