This should be a great game, but they'll probably play their scrubs.

I caught AC Milan in the meadowlands a few years back and while it was a pretty good game, it was all no name scrubs playing.

LOL, a second job . . . nah man, soccer was the second job, dealin' was his first, lol.

But man did that focker have a nice touch on the ball. I still haven't seen anyone else like that. If he wasn't such an *sshole personality wise and if he didn't fock himself up royally, he could have been the absolute best the game ever saw.

Well, except for the "hand of God" play, he he he

If you really wanna dig deep . . . can't sleep on Alfredo Di Stefano or Ferenc Puskas. Some will tell you that Puskas was at least as good as Pele. Real Madrid always hires the best, so I might have to agree. Obviously I've never seen these cats play, but I've heard stories from people that have seen them first hand. One word: Magic.

I stumbled on an interesting site (while I was trying to figure out how to spell Puskas . . . accented family members had me spelling it all different ways, lol). Check this:

http://www.plcane.clara.net/football/greatest.htm

and:

http://www.plcane.clara.net/football/greatnow.htm

Basically here's what they say:

Greatest team ever =

Manager: Mario Zagalo (Brazil)

Puskas
(Hungary)

Pele
(Brazil)

Eusebio
(Portugal)

Cruyff
(Holland)

Platini
(France)

Beckenbauer (C)
(West Germany)

Maradona
(Argentina)

Maldini
(Italy)

Moore
(England)

Carlos Alberto
(Brazil)

Yashin
(USSR)

Substitute team:
Goalkeeper: Banks (England).
Defence: Passarella (Argentina), Baresi (Italy), Nasazzi (Uruguay).
Midfield: Charlton (England), Zidane (France), Kocsis (Hungary), Garrincha (Brazil).
Attack: Gullit (Holland), Di Stefano (Argentina/Spain), Best (N.Ireland).

Greatest team now:

Manager: Guus Hiddink (Holland)

9.Ronaldo
(Brazil)

14.Raul
(Spain)

11.Rivaldo
(Brazil)

10.Zidane
(France)

7.Figo
(Portugal)

21.Veron
(Argentina)

6.Viera
(France)

18.Lucio
(Brazil)

5.Ferdinand
(England)

4.Thuram
(France)

1.Kahn
(Germany)

Subs: Rustu, Gamarra, Stam, F. De Boer, Veron, Beckham, Zahovic, Vieri, Batistuta, Owen

Damn I missed the second half. How did it turn out? As far as the greatest of all time hands down it is Pele. Played in his first world cup at 17! and absolutely dominated. He changed the game with his vision and ball control. Beckennauer is second on my list and then Maradonna.
