need hlep guys, engine cover for rt side, any one konw?

need help prefab covers for rt side of engine

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hey i was wondering if anyone new of a prefab cover for the rt side of the engine, there is the engine cover, on the right a cover over some electrical stuff but no cover on the rt side, the Z's have 2 covers and engine cover, i wana get mine painted along w/ my break claiphers but wanted to know if u knew of any prefab covers i can use thanks alot guys

just to clarify...we all know he means the cover for the battery for the right side.

Is Paul back in business? I thought he shut down his shop for a while. I also have a cover but it looks like there is some mod work required to get it to fit. From what I have heard, Paul does this on the battery covers that he sells.

For those that didn't get it from Paul (or those that did possibly), how did you secure it? It seems that even after you shave off a portion of the cover that you cannot securely secure it to the car. One side just floats there.

I got mine from Paul. After some shaving it sits pretty secured. You have to remember that the JDM cover suppose to fit the battery compartment and not the power steering components as in our USDM version. Even though the side match is correct it is still not a perfect match.

All in all, while the fit is not perfect it IS pretty secure (held by the sealant rubber).

hey the battery cover is the one thats ont he car stock, the other side is the one i want toget a cover for, so ur saying u use the same cover u would for the battery but u jig-rig it in place? they dont make custom covers? tahts insane

Its the JDM battery cover. The battery is on the right side on the Skyline.
