I'm in the same boat... But I am lucky enough to work from home. Regardless though, I hope this strike is resolved asap so we all can get back into our usual routines.

Ya know...

What are the odds that I get to live through two of these. I just moved up here from Philly and I just had to go through Septa's strike down there...big mess. AND NOW, I come up here and have to deal with this.

I look at it though as I am one of the few people benefitting from this, as I don't have to pay for transportation. LOL My company has provided chartered buses for certain areas of Manhattan, so I just hop on that to and from work...I wish it was like this all the time. No need to put money on the metrocard now. But no, I feel for all of you who have to commute from further away or places where you do not have many options to and from work. I hope this ends soon!

I love being back in the city and I love riding the subway too, but I guess I have to wait on that. I am staying with friend's at 97th off Broadway, so it is a good location.

I go back to Philly on the weekends for now...still looking for a place, but I think I really want to be in NJ. I can't get rid of the G, I REFUSE!

If anyone is around after the holidays and wants to hang or get together, let me know. I am always looking for new things to do. No smart comments from the "peanut gallery."

This strike is pointless. They out to be all fired. Lazy *** mo fos.

My mom has been home for the past 3 days since she cant get to work. She works till 8pm every night so by the time she gets home usually around 9 or later. But with strike she probably wont make it home till 11 or ifg not later.

I work in Long Island City and the traffic here is insane, people going down the wrong way on the street, people fighting over who suppose to go where. Last night i was stuck in a gridlock which turned to chaos after 45 min. Meanwhile i still stood in the same spot. The cop that was directing traffic just left cause he couldnt do anything about it.

fire them all... close down the union... nothing but lazy bitsches. Unions serve no purpose in society today.... end of story.

I have no problem picking her up. The thing is how is she going to get into the city in the first place.

I would drive her in, but at the same time G is not the best car for 4 people. Let alone where am i going to find 2 more pople that would fit in the back seat behind someone who is 6'4"
