Cabin Air Filter Replacement

I want to replace the cabin air filter myself on my '07 G35X. Are there any instructions or videos out there to help me do this. I found a video for an '06 (previous gen). Is it close to being the same?

just start taking sh*t apart,

here is a good place to start,
the plastic cover that the door closes on, (IE you can't see it from the inside when the door is closed) that just pops off, no screws.

then get a screw driver and stick ur head under the glove box and take out the screws u see down there, actually i think that lower kick panel just pops off too,

the go after the ~6 screws that hold in the glove box.
you might need to take off the silver/wood trim, that just pops off as well.
keep going till you see the white fan housing.

on the face of the fan housing ull see a door, open it.
filter will be there

the door is about the size of a carton of cigs

in all honesty its not that complicated.
should take u 1/2 hour, so plan for an hour cuz its ur first time

Yes it is fairly close to being the same . Just take out the glove compartment and the screws holding it on. You don't have to take off the side panels. It was pretty easy for me to do it.

When i did it, I took out the glove compartment and before removing the black plastic held by the screws, I popped off the plastic panels underneath and near the door. Makes it easier to pull off the screwed in black plastic. I didnt have to take out the aluminum trim.

Thanks for the tips y'all. I'll do it later today. BTW, I can't believe the price I paid for this OEM flimsy piece of pleated paper.....$28.

I believe there are 2 types of incabin filters. One in regular paper filter and one in carbon material filter. The carbon one costs around 50 bucks or so IIRC. So I don't think he ripped u off Aeson.

I've always gotten the filters form my wife's cars here. They never had them for our year's G, but I hounded the hell out of them.
They started offering them about a year ago and the prices are killer.

Unfortunately, Miconair's website isn't working these days and cannot process orders. I tried to call their customer service number a few times last week but had no luck getting a hold of anyone. Too bad, their prices look good. I wound up ordering a filter from AutoAnything.com, carbon activated for $29.95 w/ free shipping. I'll see how it looks when it gets here tomorrow.

Try Auto zone. I got a replacement filter made by STP for $20. and the charcoal one was $29.

Wow!
I just looked at your link. The EXACT same filter is sold here for $44.99+tax. What a rip off. We get so screwed up here.

I used the Micronair link a few months ago, paid $12 for mine and it took no time at all to install.
