Nice, there's probably gonna be a lot of aftermarket performance upgrades for it

^^ that's what i'm hoping for.
Plus, if Infiniti does come out with a turbo G25 then I'm 99% sure a turbo G37 will follow. Look at BMW, they TT'ed the 335i and now the entire line up has a twin turbo.

Slow-arsed econo-G. Think IS250. Maybe you could mod it for another 100+hp, OR you could buy a G37.

Now if they do as the OP says and boost the 37...that could be interesting. But one does not necessarily lead to the other, IMO.

the N/A 2.5L is rated at 220bhp. the numbers shown are actually for the N/A. A turbo version should be able to make quite a bit more.

Moreso, the aftermarket! Chip manufacturers should be able to easily tune this to put out more power than OEM.

Now, if only they'll offer a Sport version with the lsd, brakes and possibly a manual with the G25T. The scoop in the link makes it sound like this will be a base car for the most part.

This is getting scary.
My thoughts exactly.

It's a v6 still... I wonder what the difference is between the vq25 and the larger vq motors... and if the turbos and components can be transferred...

Why are people surprised to see a turbo Nissan? I was surprised to see a turbo Honda, but Nissan and Toyota have had turbo'd motors for years.
