you have an AEM V2 CAI? that doesnt even make sense. The V2 is NOT a CAI...its more of a short ram than anything....oh and it doesnt ****.

i highly doubt youll get 15 for your car. i just sold my 05 typeS with 31,000 miles on it for 16,200...totally stock with OEM foglights.

good luck.

actually, it is a cold air intake. look it up if u don't think so. i guarantee i'm right. u had no mods on your 05 and mine has lots of mods. 15,000 obo, means just that. if you don't think 15,000 sounds fair, then shoot me an offer that you think is. i'm mainly on here to see if someone wants to trade their g though. that's why i posted it on g35. i have it just for sale on clubrsx.

Your AEM V2 sits in the engine bay soaking up heat especially since the filter sits right on the block, and to make it worse, it's all the way in the back, far from any air coming in. You're actually losing more power than anything with that intake. It really takes a sucker to buy into the marketing hype calling that POS intake a "cold air intake"

im just saying, you are going to have better luck parting out and selling your car stock. and according to your first post, you really dont have that many mods on the car....none of them are going to increase the value of the car. you're selling an 03 with 73k miles on it for $15,000? Are you kidding me? that car is worth MAYBE 10,000...KBB your car stock...add the "mods" you have on the car currently and come up with another price....$15,000 is unrealistic. IF you get someone to buy it for that price, more power to you....from the sound of it, it was prob beaten to hell when it was turbocharged.

glws.

RSX Type S Gas Mileage 21/28 (city/highway)
G35 Gas Mileage 17/24 (city/highway)
Both take premium (www.fueleconomy.gov)

20 gallon tank, will save you MAX 80 miles or 6 dollars per full tank. Not really a big difference at all.

And did you say the RSX has a sport car aspect and the G35 doesn't? No wrong wheel drive car is a sports car.

I sold my RSX for my G35 and no offense but it is better in every aspect. Someone would be crazy to trade a G35 for a RSX.

it wasn't beat up at all. the otiginal transmission was never used with the turbo'd motor and it has a never turbo'd k20a2 in it now. i'm leaving for iraq on friday and just don't have the time to take everything off. my car is worth 12,000 at the least stock and i would be fine if someone bought it stock for that much.

well, thank goodness that not everyone has your opinion and preference on cars as you. there are many people that wouldn't trade their rsx for a g35. that's just your opinion. i'm there with you though because i want a g35 also. i'm done with front wheel drive. i had fun with that car, but it's time to move on to rear wheel drive like i'm used to.

And KBB on a 2003 RSX Type S with that many miles is barely 10k.

I agree with you 100%. Everyone has different taste and mine is not universal. I really do wish you best of luck. Trading my RSX for my G35 was one of the best things I have ever done. Only drawback I can ever say is price of mods. Expect to pay 2-3 times more for the exact same mod.
RSX exhaust 500 / G35 exhaust 1500
RSX tires 600 / G35 tires 1200
RSX turbo 4000 / G35 turbo 8000
ect, but it is worth it man

i just saw your for sale threads on clubrsx...you arent even selling it on that forum for $15,000. AND you have yet to provide anyone with pictures. From the looks of it, you really dont know how much to sell any of your stuff for since you claim that everyone is "low balling" you. Get your facts straight, figure out how much **** is worth before you start posting what YOU want to get for stuff...its just not realistic.

im not tryin to be a dick, just trying to be realistic...it took a few months for me to sell my car STOCK for $16K and my car was newer, had less miles, and was prob in better condition than yours.

Ill put it into perspective for you some more... here's a fellow Ohioan who is trying to sell his car. Its an 03 PWP with about 10K more miles than yours. He has mods on it, prob of equal value of your mods....and he is STILL having trouble selling it for $10000.
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=598643 theres the thread for reference.

good luck.

hey, i made the switch. overall im happy with my decision. the g35 is just a better car overall than my rsx. is it as practical? no. is it more reliable? I think so. The sooner you start selling parts and the rsx for decent prices, the sooner you can get yourself into a G.

well, you're crazy if you think my car's worth only 10,000. kbb is 13,000 in the actual book not the internet one. you are low balling yourself if you go off of the online kbb. you got low balled on your acura. it's worth 16,250 with the online kbb and 17,500 with the actual kbb hard copy.
