You will only find criticism here because your price is so unrealistic. This sucks ***** for you. Banks usually go by NADA on what they finance. The bank I work at (Wachovia) would only finance this car up to $27,200 due to risk NO MORE! with good credit blah blah....So your potential buyer has to come up with 10k cash!
You also have HIGH mileage for an 08 65k! Pray that your trade in is 23,400. That's a 14k loss got damn!!!
! A lot of people due to the economy are soooo upside down in there vehicles. This will be a lesson learned. I say trade it in and take the loss. After go buy a Dave Ramsey book or watch his show on Fox Business.

Dude, $37K for the 08? You know that you can get the 2007 or 08 Audi A6 or Lexus GS350 awd. Save $10K? Let me see, first of all I have to borrow the bank $37K to buy your car with higher interest rate due to used car, which I still have to pay tax and paper work craps. Secondly, if I have $37K cash to pay you to avoid the tax I wouldn't buy the G35. With that much of cash in hands, my income should be high and able to afford way better class. Sorry man, but look like trade-in and take some loss is the best bet.
Unless you can write off taxes from a lease, you should always pay cash instead of financing, UNLESS the reason for financing is because you can use that money to generate returns that would exceed the interest payments and still be liquid.
If this is not the case, you cannot afford the car.
If anyone is in a position where losing their job = they have to have their G repo'd, then they are living way beyond their means.

You don't sound like you know what you're talking about. Losing your job means ZERO income. Unemployment gives you crap. Savings can only go so far. Over 80% of NEW car buyers finance. If you bought you G used then I would agree on paying cash. Dont belittle someone while there are down. That sucks!
No one is denying that over 80% of buyers finance their cars. Hell, how would you live without a car in most of the US today? It would be impossible to. However, there is a huge difference between financing a Civic (a practical reliable, fuel efficient, and inexpensive means of getting from point A to point B) versus financing an entry level luxury car. I won't laugh at the guy who lost his job and got his Civic repo'd because that guy didn't have too many options. He needed a reliable, fuel efficient, and inexpensive means of transportation and his intent wasn't to display any type of status. I will however laugh at the guy that overleveraged himself to get into a G35, lost his job, and now realizes he truly couldn't afford the luxuries he was pretending to live with.
