FS: 2008 G35S 5AT Sedan Prem, Sport, Nav

I need to get rid of my sedan which is only seven months old. Unfortunately the crisis hit me too and I need to sell it fast.

The car is stock, platinum graphite outside, graphite leather/washi aluminum inside. Fully equiped (except tech and 4was packages).
Has 65xx miles on the odometer, and oil was changed at 4000. The engine was broken-in properly (and as we know it is still breaking in) and it pulls amazingly hard (but, you should know that too). The paddle shifters are really nice feature!

I don't want to make any money out of the sale, so I'll sell it for the price I owe to the bank: $37058.04.

Why buy used for such high price?
Well that's the real amount of money you will owe to the bank if you finance a new one 7 months from now. Taking my offer will save you a 5K down payment and another 4.2K in payments and you still get a practically new car in excellent condition.
I'll repeat again: you will save almost 10K.

I really wish I didn't have to sell it so fast, but unfortunately the reality often bends you over and kicks you in the butt.
Here are some pictures taken some time ago. What had changed since then is two lightly scratched wheels and some paint scratch on left side skirt - you need to know where to look to see it. Other than that the car is still in same great shape; the paint condition is great because I only wash it using pressure washer which reduced the swirls.

I don't have a particular picture of interior but you can go to http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=f4df309d-386f-4e3f-ad44-10e1dbc72404and view a 360, high-res view of the car in browser.

And lastly, I live in Woodland Hills, CA and prefer a local pickup. While I don't anticipate lowering the price significantly I'm willing to negotiate on the price.

Are you kidding me? You can get a 2009 G37 Sedan brand new for less than what you're asking for a used 08 G35 Sedan.

I didn't invent that price. I'm reading it from the bank statement. I'm offering to save 10K and getting a slightly used car versus financing new car and paying a down payment, taxes, license fees, etc.

good luck in your situation but unfortunately, i have '08 G's comparably equipped and same equipment selling for low 30's. your best bet is to trade it in somewhere and take a loss.

I actually got 1.9% apr, but still it doesn't solve my problem in the long run. My income has been cut in half and couple hundred bucks wouldn't solve it.

How would anyone be saving 10 thousand dollars? You can pick up a 08 with the same options with under 10 thousand miles for 27-30?

Like I said. You're going to dealership and financing a new car. You're paying down payment of 4-5K, taxes, fees, etc. Then you own it for 6 months and paying about $700 in monthly payments. You've just spent about 10K. I'm offering to take the lead on that car. It's almost new, 6500 miles is nothing for it. If you stick with this mentality it will make sense to you, as it is really what happening.

Or you could go to the dealership and pay cash.

If we're going to use your logic, we'd have to buy your car at your price and STILL pay tax on something that tax has already been paid and STILL finance it. Financing something that's already be financed is a great way to get owned.

Good luck selling your car but don't be surprised if it's on here for a while.

Now correct me if I'm wrong here...but if I paid 37K for something AFTER I saved 10K, wouldn't that mean that the original price would have to be 47K?

Anyone seen any 08 G's selling for 47K ever? :-P
