Up for sale is my 2007 g35, it is my baby and my pride and joy, however I am going to medical school and I need every dollar for my loans. (However if a turbo z comes across in the form of trade .... I have a soft spot.) The G is downright beautiful. However she is a bit bruised. On the front passenger side there is a scratch from a mechanics belt when he was leaning over working on it. Also on the passenger side on the rear quarter panel a valet parked to close to wall and scratched it as well. It also peeled some of the protection film infinity puts on to protect the car and it looks ugly but only needs to be cleaned and replaced. Finally the rear bumper has a scratch down the center and a dent in the passenger side. Now mechanically this car runs damn good. Everything about this car is perfect besides the physical appearance. The alignment is perfect, there is no oil consumption, idles well, and gets about 320 miles per 16 gallon tank. I must also add if you are a golfer the diagram shows how to put two full size golf bags in the trunk, I must claim I have had three bags in the trunk and three passengers in the car :-P

My favorite part of this car is that it has black interior and 99% of the blue cars put out by infinity had tan interior!

these seem to be going for about 25k private party and from the dealers.

i figure the modifications value offset the body damage so i will start the price at 25,000

 

How is it you can claim full warranty on the car when most dealerships will deny your powertrain warranty for the clutch and flywheel you have let alone your turbo??

 

Is the Athens blue and black interior really a rare option? That's what I have, never thought it was something hard to find. Only combo I know about being rare is 03-04 IP/black interior.

No need for the smart remark. I was simply surious because I've seen at least two oil consumption issues in my area denied because of an after market exhaust.

 

i don't dabble in the legalities of my warranty,When i asked them at my last oil change how my car is warranty wise they responded that it was fully covered. if someone is looking for a car with no mods this is the wrong car :-D

 

i believe warranty is dealership based more or less.

Athens blue is rare in general, I think. During my "shopping," I found 3 or 4 out of 50-60 G35 coupes (6spd) within a 100 mile radius. I ended up going to a dealership 60 miles from my house. I got Athens Blue with "Stone" interior which is a light grey (three options; black, stone, and tan).

The picture of the scratch makes me cringe!

The mods are very tasteful and, in my opinion, desirable.

its funny i have yet to damage my car, but everyone else seems to get in on the action. The rear bumper was from the flippin garage door.... thanks mom lol. with a new rear bumper you only have the side door damage and infinity said that it is a protective film they put on the coupes that only needs to be peeled off hit with some goo be gone and have another put back on.

 

well now you know that this is a rare scheme. its good to learn, i do it everyday.
