FS: 2005 Low Mileage Custom G35 Coupe
#34
I sold my garage kept modded 05 G35 coupe last year with only 12k original mile for $19k. I wish you the best, but it will take a miracle for this car to sell for the price you are asking.
I just picked up my 07 coupe sports tuned with ras from Infiniti of ft lauderdale preowned certified with 15000 miles for less then what you are selling yours for..

Try parting out
Some posters probably could have been a little more sympathetic and tactful, but unfortunately the general message is accurate. $32k for your ride isn't just unlikely, I'd say it's an impossibility. Assuming you still have the OEM wheels, you might want to consider advertising the wheels only first. But even then you're going to have to be more realistic. What you have to understand is that what makes the car valuable to you, may mean absolutely nothing to a potential buyer. In fact, it could have a negative effect. You like the stereo, but some would rather have a usable trunk. You like the wheels, but they aren't practical for somebody who lives in pot-hole riddled PA or Michigan. The suspension drop looks great, but what if a potential buyer needs more clearance to get up their driveway?
I just sold my 2004 coupe with only 12,000 miles. I did better by parting the wheels and selling the car in stock condition. One buyer got a great deal on a super low mileage car in showroom condition, and another got a set of perfect PIAA Super Rozzas at a bargain price. (I had no suspension, stereo or engine mods.) In the end, I just had to realize the car was only really special to me. You'll have to put aside your emotions if you really want to sell it. And if you can't, then I suggest you don't really want to let it go. As you said, it's paid for and is warranted for another 45 months. So keep it and enjoy it.
And a little more friendly advice . . . if you insist on continuing as-is, you should at least consider changing the wording of your AutoTrader ad. It comes across as being far too cocky. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't respond to an ad like that. And you should also eliminate the absolutes. Unless you can prove you have the best cared for or the lowest mileage G35, you shouldn't make that claim. You have no way of knowing what else is out there. Like I said, my '04 had just 12,000 miles, and it was cleaner than the day I drove it home.
