Looking to BUY or trade for a 6mt Manual G35 Coupe
I currently have a 2005 G35 Coupe 5AT automatic and am looking for a 6MT manual coupe. If anyone is seriously interested in trading I will show and list all the details on my car.
I would prefer 05+ but 03/04 are very welcome. Cash in hand, let me know what you've got.
Located in Wisconsin, will travel a good distance for the right car.
Just out of curiosity, what price range are you looking to be in? I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and just recently started entertaining the idea of selling mine in the next year or so. I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT, which is the last model year that has the Brembos. Few choice performance mods, aftermarket wheels, and aftermarket stereo. Haven't put any serious thought into a price yet since I have to take my mods into account, which is also why I would be looking for the right buyer.

PM me if interested in talking.
Cant send you pms, you may be having the issue everyone had a while ago and they didn't fix it yet for your inbox. PM me if you can, I'd like some info on the car and a pic or two.
I've contemplated selling mine also. Its an 06 6MT coupe, loaded. I have some aftermarket parts (Stance coils, MREV2+spacer, Z-tube and more) ready to be installed. It has 97k miles. I'd be willing to entertain selling it for the right price. PM what you are looking to spend, if interested.'

My price range is basically going depend on the vehicle obviously but I'll spend up to $6,500 on the right car.
Not paying $13,000 for a stock G35 with 120,000 miles a subwoofer and dynamat though, you can keep those LoL.

Be forewarned, DM. My G is heavily modified compared to yours and he was bitching about my price, trying to talk me down, and now he's calling it stock haha. Based on my private conversation with him, he's trolling with lowball offers.
Rainy: You're better off just looking online for an actual stock G, that will hit your price point. Good luck.

I had a feeling you would feel butt hurt and have to post. I never even made an offer on your car actually.
Your car is dynamatted with a 4080 box with a W7, speakers, head unit, and a set of rims and bolt ons. Heavily modified?
I said respectfully your car is worth maybe $7,500, never offered you anything, and kept it respectful the whole time.
You told me "I took really good care of my car" then quoted absurd prices for the audio components you installed, which by the way I have the same setup in my car and know exactly what they cost.
If putting a 4080 box with a W7 and a double din head unit into a G35 that blue books for $5500 makes it worth $13,500, I guess my 05 is worth 13 grand because my car is basically identical in mods.
Please. Just please. Keep it to PMs if you have a problem dont ruin my thread because you disagree about the value of your car. You arent the first person to do some work to a car and take good care of it and think that makes it a Unicorn.
Check this very classified you've got Supercharged and turbo beautiful G35s that are ACTUALLY heavily modified going for $10,000.
Your car is nice. I never insulted you in any way. A 2004 with 125k miles is not worth $13,000 because of bolt ons and a stereo. Sorry.

Hi,
Sorry, I've been MIA from the forum recently. I apologize for sleeping on this thread.
If $6500 is your max price, I'll just keep my G. That's what CarFax offered me (actually, they offered 6k) and I walked out on them. Mine is essentially bone-stock. I've only changed out the clear corners because I wasn't diggin' the amber lenses. Its in fantastic condition for an 06. I get so many compliments on it, its ridiculous. The guys at Nissan keep calling it a G37...LOL. Mine isn't modded, doesn't have a 4080 with a JL sub (although I wouldn't mind one) with 120k miles. Its barely at 97k and thats only because I just started driving it again. Last couple of summers, it basically sat in my garage. Anyway, thanks for the offer of 6500, but can't do that. I'll keep it and add the bolt-ons I bought for it. Here are a few pics of it, in case you wondered what it looks like...

I didnt offer you 6500, just said that's my price range. I'm surprised a place like that even offered you $6,000, Bluebook is $6,400 with every option loaded. They usually lowball the hell out of you.
I know stick g35s can fetch a little more than bluebook value though. I'm honestly about to look into manual swapping my 05 but I don't know any shops I could trust to do it right around me.

Nice clean looking G 🙂👍
True, you didnt officially offer $6500, but you did say that's the max price you would pay for the right car. Nah, I'll just keep mine.
I'm not sure what KBB you're looking at, but I just checked before sending my previous message and I dont see $6500 with all options.
Good luck with your search or swap or whichever path you take...👍

With Every option - 19" wheels, sport suspension, spoiler, moon roof, nacigation, 6 disc bose, bluetooth, premium package, black, ect ect. It's actually $6,394 in Good condition, Very Good is $6,648, so what KBB are you looking at?
And changing the zip to Illinois actually brings the price down by 100$... lol.

Yeah, well. Not sure which options you're picking for your criteria on KBB, but mine shows a little different (attached). And my G would be on the higher end of the Private Party Range.

Again, good luck with whatever path you decide...

Excellent condition is showroom quality. No rock chips. No knicks no blemishes anywhere. Zero rust on underbody. Basically a new car. 3% of all cars in the country sold used fall under that category. Your car has brand new tires? Even Very Good condition states the car must have tires with 75% or better tread to fall under VG let alone excellent. People overlook alot of this.
You're in the midwest. I don't doubt you took great care of your car but I think Very Good is most likely what it falls under.
And putting 97k miles in doesnt account for you driving the car even one more time before you sold it.
It's not worth the energy to continue... chalk it up to difference of opinion/outlook I guess. I have a very realistic outlook when it comes to buying vehicles.
