Need pics of TS carbon hood, painted except vents or whole thing!
I just bought a TS carbon fiber hood off of a well known member on here and am looking to have it painted soon.
Im open to ideas you may have on how it should be painted.
I am thinking of leaving the vents unpainted, to show off the carbon fiber and about a 1 inch strip/border at the very top near the windshield in carbon fiber as well.
PLEASE POST PICS OF ANY PAINTED TS HOODS PLEASE!!!!

What's up, dude?
Glad to hear you got the hood okay!
Honestly, there are only two ways I would paint the TS hood.
1) Paint the whole thing.
2) Leave about ~2-3" of the bottom of each vent c/f (see pics below). Make sure the paint fades into the c/f.

I really, REALLY, don't like it when people paint the hood and leave the vents c/f.

Provided that the grille on the above car doesn't help, I still don't think the c/f vents look very good. They look very out of place, IMO.

I would definitely go with the second option Calvin posted.
