any one buy the LED sidemarkers ?

 

I really want those sidemarkers, but I just can't bring myslef to spend $300 on something that can be stolen so easily.

 

I made my own a long while back. I put in the wrong resistor in and blew out the LEDs. I haven't had a chance to do it proper. I kept the amber housing. I also made every other LED blink with the signal. I'll probably get motivated again in a month.

I would be interested as well. $300 for a pair of turnsignals is friggen nuts. Thats like a $200 profit. I have a guy that might be able to hook us up with those leds for a decent price (he sells all that type of stuff) if you decide its worth your time to make them.

 

Just so everyone knows... I can't do clear corners / side markers. I just modify the amber ones to a row of LEDs. Clearcorners.com is the real deal while mine is more of a radio shack type of mod. Qaulity of craftsmenship is gonna be on a completely different level. Mine are good enough for "me." Selling them to customers is a different matter. I'll post in the technical forum when I'm done/successful. Probably within a month.
