I finally got all my chrome darkened,even the license plate frames.I'd like to tint the side markers & darken the headlight housing some time soon.My gunmetal LE37's I ordered from bulletproof six weeks ago should be here any week now,I can't wait!

It costed $180 to do the grill,$50 for the plate frames,and $200 for the emblems from a guy here in OC.He'll probably spray a thin coat of transparent paint over the clear corners for $40

I can't beleive you spent so much money on useless mods like this. But then again that's just me.

Just because they don't add HP doesn't mean they're useless mods, I think the car looks great like that. Well worth the money if you ask me.

Not that I'm advocating this, but I once saw someone who, in pursuit of the purest monochrome appearance, colored in the white parts of his license plates. I'm sure there are laws against doing anything to reduce the legibility of your plate numbers, but I wonder if there's any laws against changing the colors. Mind you, the person who did this has an alien green rice-mobile. At best, you'd probably have to settle for smoked grey plates versus blacking them out.
