Hey guys, I went to Zdayz in NC this weekend, several of the the guys on the boards were there with some GREAT looking G's...BUT we were WAY out numbered by the Z's (go figure). Anyway I have been talking to a couple of guys in our club and we were thinking about trying to organize a small event for around late September or early October. I know it wouldn't be doable for a lot of folks on the board just because of the distance but if anyone is interested just let me know.

 

I'd be there if I was within a reasonable range.

It's quite a way from TX, North Carolina to be exact. I have had a lot of good feedback from the G club in GA so far, still trying to get any and all feedback from anyone else in the southeast, espcially the FL G guys. We have at least 15-20 folks so far and I think if we could 50-60 cars we could probably get a little bit of a break on the cabin/inn rentals. Any questions please feel free to PM me with any questions or suggestions.

i was up there a month ago, its alot of fun and there is some great scenery in that part of the state. i plan on taking my g back with me this time, but i'd also like to run it on my rc51.

 

You know I'm there. I was actually thinking the same thing yesterday. Why not have GDayg? Well, it doens't flow as nicely as Zdayz...but I can't wait to go back to the Dragon.

 

Cool, I haven't gotten much response on this board so far but most of the others are all for it. I thing the first weekend in October is going be our best bet,6-8th to be exact. Hopefully we can get more of the FL G guys interested. I already talked to the resort and if we can get between 15-20 cabins rented they will most likely cut us some slack but with the time of the year(peak Fall foliage). Spread the word guys I think this could be the start to a really great event! As far as the name how about "G Attack" on the Dragon '06? Okay, I know cheesy but any ideas would be appreciated. Myself and a few other guys will be making reservations this week, again as I find out/get together more info I'll keep you guys posted.
