Help with Clearence bulbs

I posted in the tech lighting forum but figured I would post it here as well. Just need to know how the hell to get them out to replace. I dont want to just go ripping stuff out. I have the the rubber piece off but now I just see a silver piece. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Chris

turn the wheel all right or left...take out the plastic rivets...pull down the shroud...then just turn and pull the housing

Its the one with the white and red wires attached to it. You gotta twist it and then pull it out. BUT remmeber the way it went in. Taking it out is easy. Putting it back is the harrd part

Yeah to ****ing late for that! I am so irratated right now that I just want to destroy ****! I spent over an hour trying to get the driver side bulb back in and I still havent got it. I put my damn MREV + and my Z-Tube/ JWT Pop Charger in quicker than this one damn light. I have cuts all over from my knuckles to about 2 inches past my wrist and I cant feel my right thumb and its been about an hour and 15 minutes since I gave up. People who feel my pain please help me out or am I just going to have to get lucky?

I feel your pain. Spent 30 minutes replacing mine this past weekend myself. Like others have said, turn your wheel all the way towards the inside. remove 2 rivets and 2 screws up top. What helped me is realize that the clearence bulb goes in diagonaly, which means towards the corner of the car and not straight to towards the front.

you should have to twist the connector to like 10' oclock then put it in and turn it to 2' oclock...btw invest 10 dollars in work gloves, best 10 bucks you ever spend

Ya, this was a pain in the butt to do. Me and a friend were working on it, and we almost got the first one back in and then the bulb fell out into the headlight so we had to take the bumper and headlight out. Made it a heck of a lot easier, but still a hassle to take it all off. Worth it when you get done though.

i dont see how yall are having so much trouble...took me about 3 mins a side, but ive done it before...the trick is pulling enough of the shroud down and having the wheel turned all the way in...also if you have a strong light flash it into the housing
