So today i was driving how from Wintsteds and decided i was gonna show my friend how cool the g really was cause he was thinkin of getting one. I decide to fishtail around a corner. I was going way to fast and tryed to pull out but couldnt make it in time. I now can say that i definatly have the worst curb rash on my front drivers side wheel ever seen in history. I also cliped the front bumper so there is a scuff about 2in by 2in. I will never do that again. Any know the cost to replace a stock 2003 g35 coupe wheel (the 18in one). Also has anyone else ever scuffed their front bumper about the same size as mine. And how much did it cost to get fixed. Ill try and get some pics if i can get my camera to work.

LOL, that sucks! That happend to me as well..I had a 2000 Saleen before my G and I was showing off and did the exact same thing... You just wish you could turn back the clock.. You can pick up a stock 18" wheel on e-bay sometimes for like 200 bucks... Just keep checking e-bay once a week..

 

damn i cant stand what happen im like gonna go crazy. Luckily my new rims come in soon but i still have to get the bumper fixed.

 

I have done crap like that a few times. If it makes you feel better, I went over a sidewalk in my G and cracked two wheels about four months ago.

 

The G looks cool without doing stupid tricks. I am sorry for your mistake but one should know his driving limits. But at least now you learn from your mistake.

 

I feel for ya man. Last time I got a little wild was in my
mustang. I too was showing off and took out 42 feet of fence + f/rim
drivers qt panel and can't forget the hood. All from banging 2nd gear while dancing that back end..LOL..I had the fucing car just 10 days...

So ya, been there and done that Life is all about learning from
mistakes.......

Hey' Infiniti fixes the rim for 250. they'll repair and repaint the rim. i did it to my fronts...
