what provokes them to hate so much... does having your car modded visually (rims, bodykit, etc) make your car more prone to being keyed... im sorry to hear it happened tho' and goodluck having it repaired. i believe in karma so they'll get what they deserve.

sorry man... i think thats one of the worse things that could happen to a car.... like the damage is not that great, but at the same time, it is....

i dont understand why people do siet like that. lack of respect for other people's stuff!

My car was keyed the first week I had it... less than 150 miles on it at the time... I hate those fvckers... everybody do the world a favor... next time you see someone doing something to someone else's car, instead of just saying "It's not my car", do something about it instead. Beat the living crap out of the @ss or call the proper authority to handle it... but that's never going to happen...

About 2 yrs ago I was walking back to my car at the mall and saw 2 guys hovering around a new vette. I slowed my walking pace to see if they were trying to steal it or what...I could see one guy telling the other guy to "**** it up" Then I saw the one dude run his hand down the side of the car and I heard the dreaded screaching sound of metal on metal....I lost it... I ran over there(full steam) and plowed the guy that keyed the car with a full on linebacker tackle right in the chest (pretty sure I knocked the wind out of him at least) As i am getting up i notice the other guy walking around the car to come at me....lol that lasted about 12 seconds as I dodge his pathetic little punch and throw a left kidney shot then a right forearm to his grill. (that cost him 2.5 teeth) At that moment I remember what I went to the mall for...among other things I had picked up some tie wraps....It was hog tying time...I tie wrapped both guys hands and feet on the grass right beside this guys car, called the cops and waited....
About 45 minutes later, and after about 30 people walked by laughing at these two guys tie wrapped up...the vette owner showed up. I told him the story and he was EXTREMELY grateful because he was an enthusiast as well. We sat and chatted until the cops arrived...
The guy ended up getting the bill for the damage, and me and the vette owner are still friend now. He rewarded me with a steak dinner out that night.
Not saying everyone should do this, just telling you it can be done.
P.S. I have combat training, so I do not want people getting hurt trying this at home. A better idea is to gather information like descrition and/or license numbers.
Damn did it feel good though!!!!

Envy man. Its jealous envy.

America, land of the free, home of the why-can-they-have-it-and-I-cant-so-ill-break-their-$hit idiots. A nation of irrespective people bent on entitlement.

Props to you radjack79, I think all of us enthusiasts would step up in a situation like that...if not with brute force then with our cell phones and our Canon Powershot Elphs with camera/video/zoom (I carry mine literally everywhere)
