Brembo Brakes on a '06

I've got an '06 Coupe and I'd like to install some Brembos. Has anyone done this yet ? Where did you buy them from and what part no.s do I need to order ? Also, do you happen to know if rears are available ?

It's doable but it's a big PITA and unless you find a good deal on some Brembos off an 03-04 G, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to buy the parts from the dealer. Might as well get a real bbk.

Yes, why on earth would you want to get the Brembo's from the 03-04's when you can get the BBKs? Now, you can chose your own colors (I just hate the gold color), pick your own size rotors (not to mention slotted ones too), and anywhere up to 6 pistons. Go with BBKs, and you will be the envy of your local meet

I originally wanted to do that to my coupe, but once i started looking into it i decided the hassle wasn't worth it. So now i plan to just get a Stoptech BBK when i get the money saved up.

Unless you really want the 'brembo' name on your calipers, it would probably be better to look at the various bbk's out there.

FYI, the 05+ G35 has almost the same size brakes now as the Brembos. It's not worth upgrading to Brembos. Get a BBK like everyone said.

Wow !! Thanks to everyone for the great info. I never really researched anything other thatn Baers and Brembos. I also was familiar with Stoptech. I thought I would go with the non-stock Brembos (Gran Turismo) but now I'll look into the other choices listed.
