? for those with bodykit. Does you car feel slower?

Hey

I just got my full replica bodykit installed (nismo front, kenstyle sides, rear) and now i noticed my car feels alot slower. it feels sluggish when i hit the gas and it feels like my car is so much heavier. taking turns isnt as smooth anymore and i have to really hit the gas to feel anything. Did anyone else notice this after they got their bodykit?

dont think its the weight of the bodykit parts as they were about the same weight as the stock parts. maybe the increase in weight came when the bodyshop mounted it and all. but dont think a few extra bolts would be the issue. maybe its the aerodynamics of the bodykit.

I don't see how that little weight could affect performance like that, and the aerodynamics of the kit wouldn't slow you down that much either.
Try an ECU reset and give it another try. Maybe you've been 'grannying' her too much lately.

i dont think my car was any slower. remember they are probably the same weight of the pieces that you took off, overall. maybe its that you felt that its so racy that you should be going faster, but are only going the same speed, thereby making you mentally slower?! hell i dont know kid, but im sure its pimped!! besides, like will smith says "2 miles an hour, so everybody sees you!"

Someone's obsessing about hundreths of seconds. Unless you new new bodykit is a 6' X 6' iron plate bolted to the front bumper.

drive down hill. in fact, go to flagstaff arizona, and drive to phoenix. If that doesnt make you feel fast then drive off that cliff right next to highway 17, you are sure to go really fast!

but its all mental. maybe you said it already, but what kit do you have again, im too lazy to look. doesnt matter, its pimped im sure!
