You replace ONLY the Colored Cover part. Shut your door and make sure it's locked. Take the smallest flat head screwdriver you've got, pull the door handle, and gently pry/pop off the cover. Do the same thing to the item you received and push/pop the new cover on.
Thats it, 10 seconds later you've got a flush look.

*assuming* that you are telling us that we'll need to seperate the two pieces apart?
Just to avoid confusion. First let's say I recieved my part in the mail (which I did). Am I to do ANYTHING to this part BEFORE even thinking of putting it on?
If that's the case, then I can see (in my head) what is going on. We seperate the cover from the piece we got, and then pop the old cover off that had the hole for the key and replace with the new one.
Correct?
Thanks for the help,

I just put mine on and that's exactly what I did. On the piece that I got in the mail, I separated the colored plastic piece from the weighted piece with a small flat head screwdriver. I then did the exact same thing and removed the colored plastic piece from the car and just swaped them. Looks really good, thanks a lot again Dan.

P.s. Does the new piece need anything to help hold it in (glue) or does it "POP" right into place? I'm guessing the latter.
Thanks again fellas! Love this forum!!
