TPMS question

Hey Guys, well i picked out my new rims (maya stm's) I picked my sizes 20x10r 20x8.5f, i have yet to pick out my tires both brand and size yet.

My next and most important question is what to do with the tire pressure monitoring system. i spoke to infiniti and they want $135ea if i can reuse them on my new rims/tires. would i be able to remove them from my old set? also id i cant use them with my new setup, is there a way to disconnect the tpm?

thanks in advance.

You'll find that this has been discussed many times if you search around a little.
Not trying to be inhospitable, it's just that you might want to browse the other threads in addition to my answer.

The short answer is yes, your old sensors might fit your new wheels, it all depends on the contours of the inside of the wheel and the stem hole placement.
The dealer can either reprogram them for a different pressure range in your new tires, or disable the system if you don't use the sensors.

It works for me.............

When I had my Volks and new tires installed we just
took the sensors out of the OEM wheels and put them
in the Volks. Everything works fine, I haven't had
any issues.
