Came back from dealership.
I just came back from the dealership to fix that crazy sh|tty smell from the AC... and the guy said the charcoal filter would not help at all. I remember reading from infiniti help that the charcoal filter is the solution to this problem... but wtf?
He then continued to tell me that the smell is from the evaporator case, not the filter and changing the filter would do nothing... then he said he'll spray some deoderizer into the evaporator or something... Damn these guys are clueless.

If it's a moldy smell, then the tech is right. He needs to spray a deodorizer first. The charcoal filter will help keep outside odors outs. It will not take away the smell that is already in the system.
