Re: Spoiler?

Thanks to all contributors. I am still leaning to "without". I just think the lines look sleeker. Of course the dealer now has three in "with", so if he throws it in for free I may just be swayed.

Re: Spoiler?

OriginallyI purchased the G without the spoiler. I must admit it looks cleaner and more elegant. But this monster is a sport car. If i wanted classy and elegant...i would have gotten a benz, lex,or bimmer. So i went out and got the a factory spoiler on it. It looks great both ways. Ultimately, its up to the owner to decide what he likes better. For me, the spoiler adds a sporty and an agressive look I want in this beast.

Re: Spoiler?

It's all a matter of personal preference, of course. But my opinion is that the car looks like it's missing something without the spoiler. I happen to like the factory spoiler, and have it on mine..

Re: Spoiler?

It's a matter of personal taste. Overall, the spoiler adds more of a muscular look and weight to the rear of the car as without it is more elegant with smoother lines. Personally, I very much prefer the muscular look with the factory spoiler.

Re: Spoiler?

I don't have the spoiler. I went throught the same thing before I bought mine. I chose no spoiler because I really like the smooth flow from nose to tail. It sort of reminds me of the J30 a bit. It looks really clean.

Re: Spoiler?

I just got a DG/G 6-speed w/premium. I didn't pre-order and ended up buying one that was on the lot. I was stuck with the factory wing and front/rear mudguards. Initially, I didn't want either the mudguards or the wing, I thought that they would take away from the lines of the car, but I really like them now. I couldn't imagine the car without and will probably purchase the factory front lip to complete the look. Certainly the wing isn't as radical as the one that was on my 93 Supra TT.

Re: Spoiler?

Like mostly everyone stated, It's a matter of personal taste. I for one think it suits the car very nicely. To me, it's the branding of the coupe that sets it from other cars. You don't see the same style spoiler on other cars and practically no other car offers a stock spoiler like it.

A good investment if you ask me

Re: Spoiler?

neohh,
Thanks for the wax compliment. I didn't even wax it! The wax is from when the dealer cleaned it up before I drove home with it. That picture is about 2 days after I got it.

Re: Spoiler?

Skylinegt,

heheheh...i didin't realize that there is such thing as photoshop or MS paint. i could of use either of those two to get rid of the license plate.

That picture was taken before i had the Volks te37 and hks coil over. If you search the west section, there is a meet in the valley that have my car with the above setup.
