Burning oil?

I've read a lot of complaints about 350z/G35s burning oil.....most people seem to point to test pipes (which makes sense) but I was reading today that Nissan was starting to recall a lot of cars (e.g., altima, sentra, and something else) for burning oil and eventually catching on fire.......wonder if the VQ is next :/

My car burned nearly all its oil in 5000 miles. The oil light came on and it started making HORRIBLE noises. I almost cried. The dealership changed the oil and then sealed it all up and is going to check it in 1000 miles.

When I told my dealership about it, they thought I took oil out to hurt my engine so I could get a new one. I yelled at the lady and told her im not a fuc*ing retard.
