G35C 5AT, is a deal possible in CA?!?!?
G35C 5AT, is a deal possible in CA?!?!?
Hi, I am looking to buy a Laser Red G35C 5AT in the future and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on the best way to purchase the car. I am told that in CA, a deal is literally impossible because the car is JUST THAT POPULAR. I want both a sports package and premium package on the car. What do you guys think is a realistic price for the car in CA? I've been a long time customer at my local Infinity dealership and plan on paying for the car in cash. Do you guys think there is any chance to get a pretty good amount off the MSRP? and if not by any means I've listed, how?
i'm pretty sure 35000 is reasonable for what I want. let me know!
thanks!

I know when I bought my Laser Red-5AT coupe, nobody was dealing. I don't know if it's that way now, but the coupe will sell itself. Cerritos had an attitude like, If you don't buy it, the next guy will. Here is something you can try. You can price the coupe with options;

Copy and paste it, and good luck! PM me, if you want to see my actual numbers.

Re: G35C 5AT, is a deal possible in CA?!?!?
since we live in California, the car is definitely in high demand.. when i was doing my search for the coupe, i found that only two dealers in the bay area would even go below msrp.. the car literally does sell itself.. when they brought my car out after being prepped for sale, an elderly couple came to the show room and asked if the white coupe was for sale.. they were ready to cut the check right that moment.. the dealership ended up trading for a white one from another dealership, so it is really hard to get deals..
in my situation, i did trade-in a car.. even though i kno trading in a car is not the best way to earn the most out of selling a car, i did get an awesome deal.. my car was in "average" condition.. i got them to give me the "excellent" kelly blue book value for it.. after a little negotation i got them to give me an additional $1000 for my trade-in, so in a sense i negotiated about $1000+ off msrp, if u want to think about it that way.. either way, they still earned money off the coupe along with my trade-in, so i didn't think they really cared..
a lot of other users will probably chime in and say, oh i'm gettin discounts so-and-so.. dont' believe in the msrp hype.. it's because we're in CA that the car is so hot.. you probably can get a 5AT right now, with a little discount, but it's gonna take some research.. you can always say that a competiting dealership at so-and-so will give me a discount.. but all i can say is expect to hear "alright, go with that dealership then" cause they can sell the car to the next person walking in.. just be firm in what you say.. you kno they earn a lot off the car already, so really a little discount won't hurt them..

Hey guys, thanks for the headsup on your experiences. I think this is a duh answer but how hard do you think it would be to find a used one next yr(like 8-10 months from now?). Also does it help to try to buy an '04 model as the '05 models start to come in? thanks again!
