rattling issues and stink a/c

so i keep taking my car back to the dealer for these problems. firstly, the sterring console / column has an incessant rattling. they cant seem to ,locate it, and i keep taking it back without much luck.

secondly, my a/c stinks for a few minutes whenever i turn it on. smeels like mold / funky midlew. i took it back, and for a day or two it smelled great. now its back to stinky again.

anyone have luck with either of these issues in fixing them?

otherwise, im loving the ride, just these are both annoying the hell out of me...

Make sure to turn off the ac a couple of minutes before you turn off your car. This should help prevent that mildew smell I believe b/c this will mimize condensation that would stick around if you have it on right before you turn off your car.

I had a really bad rattle from my steer column too. My dealership ended up filling the entire column with foam... no more rattle.

I've heard if you use the econ feature on the AC exclusively it can lead to mold growing in your vents due to the moisture, not sure if that is entirely accurate or not or if you are using the econ feature a lot. Just passing it along

Charcoal filter took care of that stench in mine. You can pick 'em up pretty cheap now too.
