No offense to anyone......but the '03's and 04's are the same car; so don't fool yourselves. If I remember correctly the only change on the '04's was adding a tire pressure light (which itself is sometimes problematic!).

If you read this forum thoroughly, I think you would find very little difference in the reported issues between '03's and '04's. Apparently some of the issues are not yet resolved by '06!!!

I have an 03 6MT with 47,000+ miles and I have had very good luck with mine. The only major problem I had was the clicking in the rear axel, but the dealer fixed it free of charge.

I have an '03....no real significant problems at all. Only had to go to dealer once and that's for a slight problem with windows failing to work, but that's settled.

Common sense tells me '04s have production date from January to June, and '04.5s should be July to December of 2004. I think you can find a sticker with the production date when you open your driver's door. I believe mine was born in March of 2004. .

Not quite correct. I have the first of the 04's and the production date is July 2003.

Yours is a 3.75.

The 04.5 had a revised tranny ecu too.

Now let's see what happens with the new and improved 07 sedan!
Yes and no dude. They have changed quite a few things on the new 07 so there may be as many problems due to the version that you see on brand new cars.

I have a 2003.5 and I had the same stupid problems everyone seems to complain about over and over every new year (even though 2006 model years.) The 2004 is pretty much exactly the same as the 2003.5; 2004 just has a flat-tire sensor.

I was being sarcastic when I said new and improved. I know there will most probably be an entire new set of problems for the 07.
