So the dealer just replaced the entire radio/cd unit under warranty, 2 weeks later I start the car and try to turn the ac off and nada, nothing happens. AC still on but I can't control it. I say xxxx, and try to turn the radio on to forget about the ac problem, aghhh to radio. Back to the dealer I go?

Take it back. I had the exact same problem with my sedan. It's a circuit board behind the radio. But I can't believe they put a known faulty part back in there. The dealer didn't even flinch when I told them what happened. They know it's a problem

 

i would demand compensation for gas and a free oil change next visit... thats ridicuous, and a free loaner which u will not put gas in

 

So did the AC module work after the service or did it stop working 2 weeks after? Could be that they forgot to plug the module back in. Should take like 10 minutes to pluig back in, i've taken apart the whole dash in that time.

 

that really scares me, cause im actually going tommorow to get my radio/cd change switched cuase my audio switches to one side of my car and only plays on one side of the car, so they said it was a common problem and that i should just bring in my car, so im bringing in my car tommorow and now that u say this it scares me to bring in my car, but i dont really have another choice... so wish me luck
