cruise control limit?

Noticed this on 2 recent highway/freeway trips....

I can't SET or use cruise control "ACCEL" past 91mph....

Anyone else find that?
Not sure if my cruise control unit is bad or if it's some infiniti safety thing....

No it's not bad. That's the limit of the criuse, depending on the accuracy of the speedometer.

92mph here. and 5th gear kicks in at 120mph on the 5at. couple things i learned on my 1200 mile trip from st louis to miami heh. the limit is probably something to do with the gearing.

Why would you need the cruise control to be set higher than 90 anyway? At that speed you should be attempting to be in full control.

some people are more comfortable than others at high speed. once you're on the highway, there are certain things that will be out of your control no matter what.

Because the speed limit in some states is 75, and will soon be 80 on one road in Texas.
