Ok, I have searched and searched and searched...I am looking into getting a front lip for my 2004 coupe 6mt. I was told by the body shop doing my repairs that they will redo my oem one for 250 which includes stripping it down and repainting it so that it will look brand new to go with my new front bumper. The said w/ the scratches underneath w/out redoing it it will look like crap. Then I called them today and said that I am looking to getting an aftermarket one and they came back and said they will paint it for free but will not install it on my car as it is aftermarket and dont want to be responsible. He also said that it needs to be installed 100% like the factory front lip and not have 3m taping done to do it. So anyone know or have experience w/ a good quality front lip that meets these requirements for around this same price and any suggestions on which to get...thanks?

 

www.everythingg35.com sells the factory lip prepainted.i forgot the price though.

 

Just buy the aftermaket lip, and have them paint it.

Installing it yourself is no biggie, I believe most are just a couple of screws + some 3M tape.

Thanks but I think after I get the car fixed I'm upgrading to an '05 or '06 coupe so I will just keep it stock for trade in.
