I hear ya. That's why I stopped taking my G (when I had it) to shows cause I pretty much had everything but a turbo/supercharger and got **** for it. Stopped going when some douche rocket came up and goes "Aw **** its a G35! You got a turbo?" I go "Nope don't think I will either." He goes "****, anything here will kick your a$$ then." And it went real south from there. Guy didn't even own a car himself and there were mainly Civics and Preludes there. Same thing with my 1973 Charger and shows. My wife and I bought a cabin boat and took car shows out of our life's this year. The people/crowds are getting worse. No one respects the cars, owners, or the work you've done. Someone's always got to talk about how their or someone else's car is better than yours or how much faster it is bla bla bla. I'm 27. There's plenty of time to get back into that scene once it calms down. My IS350 is decked out but its not going to any events

 

How the hell are colored hoses illegal? I know Cali is full of enviro-***** and that explains the exhaust but hoses? I know MA and CA share emissions standards which are the thoughest in the country, but there needs to be a limit to the kind of crap they ticket for. I don't think MA goes that far yet, just exhaust.

CARB is just a way for the state to make a quick buck. It's pathetic and sad.
