damn open door signal. help!

Okay i was droppign a friend off who was in a hurry and he opened the door before i came to a complete stop and when i did stop, i felt the door jolt quite a bit, wasnt surprised cuz of how heavy the doors are and i just so happen to turn on the navi just to check my fuel economy and lit over the whole 6.5" screen, it reads "DOOR OPEN". WTF... my door is closed and the open door indicator in the cluster isn't lit..... can anyone help?

That's what happened to me last week. On the way to work I got really nervous when I saw that, but once I got to work, the trunk was in fact open.

Look for a faulty/broken door open sensor....If not, then try a Battery disconnect to reset the computers.
