hows the premium bose system sound?

i heard the premium bose package sounds really good in the g35 coupe, not too fond of bose, but for those of you with premium package, how does it sound? or do i need to put an after market system in it? does it get loud and clear? and good bass?

In my experience, it completely depends on the music you're going to want to listen to. A great piano concerto will be crisp, clear, and beautiful. Pantera and Prodigy, however, will probably not be as bada$$ as you want. Luckily I have eclectic tastes, so I just tailor my music choice to the car I'm driving The FX gets the hardcore stuff...

Take a CD with you on a drive and see what you think...

I am a fan of Bose, I have a 17 piece system in my room, and system in Gcoupe of course. I personally like the clear sound of Bose, complimented with the rich bass tones it offers in my G. It sounds great stock, but if you want to shake up the neighborhood, add a few subs to get the effect ur lookin for.

For a 200+ watt system it's not very impressive at all. It's decent at best.

not feelin it... I was impressed by the Bose in my Maxima.. the G's Bose just isnt cutting it.. I havent found many types of music that sound good with it.. I'm not a Bose basher, just expected more or equal to 'lesser' Bose prem systems I've had.

I think you guys might be a little unfair on the Blose.
how about comparing with other oem systems in your other cars? that would be a better comparison.

Re: hows the premium bose system sound?

I am not here to disagree with anyone's post, but I have had several car stereo systems and love the premium bose sound. Even at low volumes it comes out crisp with a sweet base that I often have to adjust down. I cannot attest for running it full blast to the point of rattling the neighbors windows. From what I have heard from my system, I believe it can rattle windows. Here is advice that won't fail. Listen to one and then decide. Music and taste for what works or not is a matter of opinion. So go listen to the premium system with the type of music you like. Even take your own tracks. I think you will like what you hear. I did.

Re: hows the premium bose system sound?

I think that Bose is decent sounding but not for the price. I sell stereo equipment and I can tell you that Bose is marked up about 100%. Honest to god. Take a job at any electronics store (Best Buy, Circuit City, Tweeter, etc.) and you'll see. I personally like my system but for that same money I think I could've spent it elsewhere and gotten better.

Don't get me wrong I love my coupe and I think the sound system is fine but there is definitely better out there. Also I find that my Prodigy and Crystal Method sound decent. It does vibrate a little too much with certain kinds of bass.

The Bose System is definitely as good or better than other premium stock car systems. Take a drive and feel it out.

bad? no... but is it a good use of '225' watts and 8 speakers? not too sure about that. I think SCV is partly to blame for my complaints.

Re: hows the premium bose system sound?

for 60 bucks my crappy bose now sounds like a sound studio. Try the tweeter upgrade. And if you get the Sedan permium you get plenty of bass with the added subwoof the coupe doesn't get... they get 20hp tho

Re: hows the premium bose system sound?

Wasn't too thrilled with the sound of the Bose system in my Coupe. I'm a big fan of clear sounding music, emphasis on mids and highs...not sure if I get that with the Bose. Probably going to be upgrading to some Diamond or Eclipse audio stuff soon.
