Any tuners in Columbus? Need some infoz on the car
May end up selling off my 06 civic si withing 6mo's and buying a G35 to boost...just wondering if there were any good tuners you guys could recommend...also need some opinions on which route to go...
1)20-30kish mileage for 27kish then turbo
2)50-60kish mileage for 22kish, then redo internals (forged pistons and rods enough?) for longevity and hold more boost
Kinda wondering what other issues there are with buying high mileage cars, in terms of "losing life" outta the car...is it just the pistons and rods that lose their life? Since i'll be boosting, whether i go with option 1 or 2, i'll prolly be changing out the clutch to handle the boost. I think I'm really only planning on going for 400whp, if not a little less...I'd like a nice and fast car that I can keep for 200k miles/10years.
Any thoughts? Any other options I should look for (I'm pretty set on getting a G35)?
oh yea...how much boost/whp can stock internals handle anyways?
