How To Disable The Mileage

Hello All,

I am curious if any of you guys know how to disable/enable the mileage reader (I hope that's the correct term) on the 2006 g35 coupe. It's a lease, and I dont want to put too many miles on it.

Thanks

I have no idea how to do it, however I find that quite unethical.

There is no good way out of a lease other than to NOT exceed your milelage and return the car in PRISTINE condition. Otherwise you will be penalized in the form of cash. This is how they get you to "roll" it into another lease, creating a snowball effect.
Seriously, get your self a 2nd car and split the mileage, it will be cheaper in the long run.
I don't care what the dealer tells you, there are no good leases. It is so attractive because it allows you to get into a vehicle for 3-5 years that you can't technically afford using conventional lending.

Discussing this kind of practice on our site can be damaging to the owner since it is illegal.
Let's keep the discussions on the up and up.
