(Modded) Engine Cover for SSV *Pics*

I used a dremel and cut my engine cover to fit with my SSV. My first attempt is the blue painted one which warped a bit where the red circle is. This time I left a center bracket to keep it from warping and I also kept the top portion attached for more stability. I still have sanding to do to even out some of the lines and smooth it out...

What do you think?

Also... I need opinions on if I should paint the center blue again or paint the outside blue and leave the center like it is?

First attempt:

The red circle is very faint, it is in the center at the V6.

Yep, good job and like the idea. I think it would look good if you just painted V6 and 3.5 blue. Just my opinion though. Either way it looks great.

the kinetix is a nice piece, why go through all the effort of covering it up?

i'd spend time to clean up the engine bay, wipe down some parts, and showcase it off.

I don't really like the void on the right side of the Kinetix and feel it is missing something so I got the dremel warmed up... I like how it helps clean up the look since I dont have an AAM fuel kit there to help it out... My engine bay is due for a good cleaning some day soon...

Here is a pic of my old engine cover painted, I might try to go this route again since it looked pretty darn good but I also liked Basheer's idea....

I wouldn't hide that cool plenum with a hacked up cover but if you like it enjoy.
