g35c or 3.2tl type s

I'm leaning towards the g35c. I don't know If I want to spent 36k on the g35c or get used type-s for about 27k.
Let me here your opinions. Let me have it.

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

By me not being a g35 owner yet, I can offer my non bias opinion. I currently own a Honda,
and I drive it very hard, and with 65k miles on it, it is still running flawlessly, with no signs of letting up.
The TL is of course going to perform just as well. I too thought of getting one of the S types until I laid my
eyes on that G Coupe. The coupe is outstanding in just about every catagory. The styling is so fresh.
The performance is amazing, and I feel it's more classy than the Acura. I'll give it to Honda/Acura they can really build a performance engine, but
the styling on the TL/CL is becoming out of date fast. I can honestly say that the TL/CL are just supped up
ACCORDS, and not even the newest body style accords. Acura is even talking about discontinuing the CL,
because nobody is buying them when you can get a accord with newer styling better features, and for 10k less.
There is no question for me the coupe is on the way, as soon as I sell my Honda, or de-modified Acura
if you will.

Do a search for this (I'm not being silly), and you will find conversations about this. My logic has mostly to do with the fact that the TL is a FWD while the coupe is RWD. Also, the looks, Gc performs better in every category. But, of course, the TL can be a value.

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

Didn't Acura have like MEGA issues with their A/T?
Like you said: front drive, even stale styling on the TL, good performance but smaller engine,(less torque) which you need on the street,.... Nice car for front dr. but nothing like a Sedan
and even less like a Coupe....JMHO

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

yes...Acura has had a lot of problems w/the A/T transmission. Used to own 2 accords...loved them. Saw the Lexus IS coming out...decided I wanted that...but didn't want an automatic...so decided to wait for the IS 5-speed to come out. During that wait, I found out that Acura will be making the 04' TL in a six speed. So, my mind was changed. But holy christ...then I saw a pic of the G and my heart was finally set. I guess I'm saying a couple things here: 1) get the G 2) get the G and 3) get the G. It is the most amazing machine that I've ever driven or laid eyes on. You won't be dissappointed. The more and more I drive it, the more and more I'm impressed. Don't wait for something, cause you never know what'll happen in the meantime...live in today and do yourself a favor and get the G

When I pick up my new coupe, I'll have a TL-S and a G35C next to each other in the garage.

That would be a lateral move. When I replace it, it'll be a vertical move.

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

Excuse me for being so "lateral" hahaha. Well if you don't want a Sedan then go for something befitting the Coupe's company: how about the new Cadillac Sixteen, or AM vantage? Is that vertical enough for ya...............Good luck with getting your Coupe soon.............
