new bumper?

i have an 06 5at w/out sport package, which means i dont get the new bumper..

do you guys think i should invest in a lip for my current bumper?

or

get the 06 sport bumper with integrated lip and sell my current bumper?

if i get a lip i will go with the oem or n1 lip probably..

this is also a feeler anyone interested in my current bumper. it has some curb rash underneath the passenger side, two small rock chips, and dealer drilled holes (but i have bumper plugs coming this wednesday which i would include..)

curb rash you can see unless youre under the car..and i had the entire front bumper polished today so its shiney just two very minor rock chips

if you want pics PM me your email and an offer

again this is only a feeler..

thanks!

EDIT: i have a DG

Go for the 06 front. looks better than the lip IMO.

I have an 04 but am going to put a new bumper on (rock chip) ... It sounds like I should go with an 06 bumper... anyone know where I can buy one sprayed already.. I have an OB coupe and would like to just have the bumper shipped to me and it sounds easy enough to put on myself ....

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks..340 but then needs to be painted right? or does it come prepainted? Yeah, it has a pretty big ding in it from a rock that flew up and it was unwrapped so has a few little markings.. minus well just get a new one and wrap it ...

Keep me posted if you can... I know a forum member here offered it for 300 primed and ready to be painted... I think it would be less hassle and maybe better price to get one painted and all ready to be put on though...

I like how the 06' bumper intergrated the lip like that but $340 seems too much to spend just to satisfy your obsession especially when there's nothing wrong with your oem one. I'd invest the $340 in something more wise like a spoiler or ing fenders.
