Manual Trans Fluid

I will start this by saying yes I searched. Some posts are really old, and I would prefer to have people with an 05 or 06 respond, I believe they have made trans improvements over the years. I have an 06 6MT and have 2200 miles. My trans is notchy 1-2 for the first five minutes or so, so I **** at 2 -2500 to avoid this until warm. Does anyone have an 05 or 06 that have switched to synthetic gear oil? If so, have you noticed a difference on the 1-2 shift? It seems most people say to stick to OEM.

Try Lucas Synthetic. I've heard it's excellent.
