Lexus rattles?! NO WAY!

Not here to put down the car, because the new IS is infact a beautiful car. It seems Toyota quality isnt so good after all, and our G35's arent the only rattlers out there.

I must be lucky... before my G coupe, I had a 02 Lexus IS for 4 years and not once did anything rattle. My G also did not rattle. Now my wife has the FX and no rattles. And so far my Mazdaspeed6 has no rattles. (All of them are made in Japan).

And... I just got the holy OK to buy my convt. Z. Had to beg for like 3 months to get this one. I told her that it will be OUR/BOTH/TOGETHER/SHARE weekend car or fun car!!! She finally gave in.
This one will be used, so hopefully no rattles too.

ChiliBowl I'm not saying this because I own an IS300 because i have a G35 and previously owned an E36 M3 so I am not that biased towards Toyota but Toyota Quality is amazing they set the bar IMO reliability wise and quality wise Toyota just can't be touched as of right now and i'm just stating facts.

Also every car is going to have a few rattles if you drive it the way its meant to be driven and take the d*mn thing over 3500 RPM every now and then.

by stating facts i i mean this :

Toyota now worth 3 times the big 3

Toyota profits jump as sales gallop

TOKYO (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp., the world's most profitable car maker, booked a 27 percent jump in quarterly operating profit on Friday as sales charged ahead in North America and Europe, and said it aimed to beat its official forecasts for the full year.

I dont think they would be the worlds most profitable car company if they didn't build quality machines

not trying to start a toyota vs. nissan / lexus vs. infiniti cause thankfully nissan builds reliable machines to.

^Why? Your post wasn't offensive at all. Also people on here and more mature and opened minded, we're not here to create a flame fest unlike the many other boards out there.

I know Toyota quality is amazing, their sale numbers speak for themselves. Its just I hate when people think Lexus cars are the Gods of luxury cars when they too have their share of problems. I respect Toyota and Lexus cars for what they are, reliable. Just in my eyes, Toyota has gone down the drain in terms of producing sports cars. After the 98' Supra, theyve built granny cars, and granny cars only. How dare they release a 306HP IS with only an automatic tranny? To make it worse, they give the AWD and manual tranny option to the lesser IS250. Seems ridiculous to me. Hopefully they can redeem themselves with an IS350/IS500 coupe/sedan with a REAL transmission, a 6MT
