rattles

If anyone out there is lucky or unlucky enough to have driven any Triumph.. especially any TR4............the rattles you experience in our cars are absolutely nothing! I understand it is relative.. But cars do rattle. and it just happens to be the toss of the dice sometimes.

Infinti's are very reliable but I'd take Lexus over infinti anyday they are better cars that require less maintenance , my wife has one now & I've had SC400 & LS400 in the past

I bought my G becuz IMO there isnt a car out that looks as good & performs as well IN THE G's PRICE RANGE

Im wearing my fireproof dupont suit so, go ahead flame....

We should also cut the Lexus IS350 a little slack since it is the first year of production. Any new car will have quirks in the first year that get fixed on the next model year(such as the passengers seatbelt issue on the G Coupes, some of the rattle issues, etc).

Overall though, I'm definitely biased towards Toyota Quality as well. They just seem to engineer their vehicles in a more longevity-minded approach and I've also found them to be pretty easy to work on compared to a lot of other car manufacturers. Jeese... I mean, think how long it takes to do a simple oil change on our Coupes.

I don't care though... I still love my G, and have loved all my other Nissan vehicles as well.

im totally with the Toyota Quality.. as for Nissan/Infiniti, its NOT in the same class when it comes to built quality and reliability, however, its gotten alot closer than b4 (good to know).
the only thing i dont like bout toyota/lexus, as someone has mentioned, is that they dont build real sports cars anymore. they used to..but not anymore. im really looking forward to some "affordable" sports car war like we had it in the 90's with the RX7, 300ZX, Supras, 3000GT, etc.. that was legendary.
i do understand why they dont really build true sports cars..and the reason is, they dont have to to sell cars. i mean, they can sell the so called Granny cars and still be the world #1. granny cars (corrolas, cameries, etc) are the real money makers, not the supras and Zs. and it's the reason why the BIG 3 are going down, cuz they cant grasp the Granny car market at all. the only thing keeping them afloat is trucks :/

When you put low profile tires and stiff suspension on a car it's hard not to rattle especially after couple thousands of miles.
